    Kuwait reactivates TIR agreement to boost trade, facilitate cross-border transport

    The Normal Administration of Customs has reactivated the TIR (Terrestrial Inland Remittances) settlement to reinforce commerce movement, simplify transit procedures, and ease the motion of products, vehicles, and drivers throughout Kuwait’s land borders.

    In a press assertion, the Administration mentioned the transfer was made beneath the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Inside Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef, reflecting Kuwait’s dedication to worldwide requirements in land transport and help nationwide financial targets and customs service improvement, experiences Al-Rai each day.

    The reactivation adopted coordinated efforts with the Worldwide Highway Transport Union and customs authorities in Iraq and Turkey to make sure smoother cross-border transit operations.
