    The Felony Court docket, presided over by Counselor Al-Dhuwaihi, has sentenced a Kuwaiti citizen to 5 years in jail for making an attempt to smuggle people whose citizenships had been revoked.

    Three accomplices — together with a corporal stationed on the Nuwaiseeb border crossing, the defendant’s brother, and a bedoun — had been every sentenced to a few years in jail for falsifying entry and exit paperwork used within the operation, stories Al-Rai day by day.

    The case emerged following a safety operation involving a detective ambush, which led to the arrest and photographing of the accused.

    The courtroom, nonetheless, avoided issuing sentences in opposition to three different people concerned within the case: a juvenile, a girl, and a bedoun, citing discretionary authorized grounds.
