In implementation of the directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to assist efforts to fight wildfires within the Republic of Albania, the UAE specialised firefighting crew as we speak started its mission within the affected areas to assist extinguish the fires.
The crew arrived in Albania yesterday with certified personnel for such operations, together with helicopters, gear, and vital firefighting supplies.
Helicopters carried out a number of sorties over the areas of Petrela and Gramsh, in addition to different wildfire places. Emirati crews, supported by superior and fashionable gear, took half within the firefighting efforts regardless of difficult climate circumstances.
