    “World Humanitarian Day, commemorated yearly on 19 August, serves as an event to honour the unwavering dedication of humanitarian staff and to reaffirm the shared duty of the worldwide group to alleviate the struggling of these affected by crises and to construct extra simply and steady societies.

    On today, we pay tribute to the braveness and selflessness of humanitarian personnel working in battle zones, disaster-affected areas, and crisis-stricken communities throughout the globe.

    We additionally take satisfaction within the UAE’s distinguished management in international humanitarian efforts, an method firmly rooted within the ideas of giving and compassion laid down by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Impressed by his enduring legacy, the UAE continues to bolster its humanitarian ecosystem via progressive legislative frameworks that assist the supply of help, promote transparency and effectivity, and foster efficient collaboration among the many authorities, personal, and non-profit sectors.

    On this event, the Supreme Laws Committee within the Emirate of Dubai (SLC) extends its honest appreciation to all humanitarian organisations and staff worldwide, significantly the nationwide humanitarian groups, whose contributions proceed to boost the standing of the Emirate of Dubai and the UAE within the fields of humanitarian work and sustainable improvement.”
