    Saudi logistics council reviews SILZ strategy, King Salman airport, and NEOM-Arar corridor

    RIYADH — The Logistics Partnership Council with the non-public sector, a part of the Logistics Providers Committee underneath the Nationwide Industrial Growth and Logistics Program (NIDLP), held its twenty seventh assembly on Tuesday on the headquarters of the Riyadh Built-in Particular Logistics Zone (SILZ Firm).

    Among the many points reviewed have been the strategic instructions of Riyadh Built-in underneath SILZ Firm, updates on King Salman Worldwide Airport and its position in supporting international logistics flows, and initiatives to enhance the investor journey within the warehouse sector.

    The assembly additionally addressed mechanisms to boost investor expertise and the impression of integrating weighing methods with the nationwide truck-tracking system.

    Members additionally reviewed the outcomes of the logistics hall linking NEOM Port with the Jadidat Arar border crossing, highlighting its added worth in strengthening commerce connectivity and facilitating motion of products.

    The council reaffirmed its position as a strategic platform for dialogue and collaboration between the private and non-private sectors.

    It emphasised the significance of tackling challenges, seizing new alternatives, and offering suggestions to spice up service effectivity and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s rating within the World Financial institution’s Logistics Efficiency Index (LPI), consistent with the targets of the Nationwide Transport and Logistics Technique and Imaginative and prescient 2030.
