    Egypt and Spain Forge Historic Development Partnership

    On Thursday, 18 December, Rania Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Financial Growth, and Worldwide Cooperation, and José Manuel Albares, Spain’s Minister of International Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation of Spain signed the Partnership for Sustainable Growth Program.

    The signing took place on the sidelines of the Egyptian-Spanish Enterprise Discussion board taking place on 18 September, marking a brand new section within the nations’ collaboration.

    Al-Mashat emphasized that this settlement signifies an equal partnership constructed on dialogue and joint motion, which is supposed to  deepen the historic ties between Egypt and Spain.

    The partnership is designed to handle vital international challenges (local weather change, environmental sustainability, and gender equality), aligning with each the United Nations’ Sustainable Growth Objectives and Egypt’s Vision 2030.

    This settlement is the primary of its form for the Spanish Company for Worldwide Growth Cooperation (AECID) and outlines a framework for cooperation in inclusive development, local weather motion, meals safety, and gender equality.

    Moreover, the settlement expands collaboration into regional and trilateral packages, making certain a complete strategy to improvement.

    A joint Egyptian-Spanish committee will oversee the implementation and monitoring of the partnership, making certain progress on shared priorities.

    King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia’s go to to Cairo, on Tuesday, 16 September, additionally included discussions on Spain’s recognition of the State of Palestine and assist for the two-state resolution, additional solidifying diplomatic ties.
