    MOI cracks down on mall violence, violations, 20 arrested, offenders deported

    The Basic Division of Prison Investigation, in coordination with the Surroundings Police Division, carried out an intensive subject safety marketing campaign focusing on a number of purchasing malls that had just lately witnessed a number of brawls, some involving the usage of knives. The marketing campaign additionally led to the arrest of a number of folks violating public morals.

    In keeping with a press release issued by the Ministry of Inside (MOI), the marketing campaign resulted within the arrest of 20 people concerned in instigating fights and creating disturbances.

    The violators had been deported, whereas authorized motion was taken in opposition to the residents implicated within the incidents, in response to Al-Anba every day.

    Moreover, 4 people had been arrested for violating public morals, and one other 4 had been apprehended by the Surroundings Police for smoking in closed public areas inside purchasing malls. Authorized procedures had been initiated in opposition to all offenders.

    The Ministry reaffirmed that safety and environmental authorities will proceed to accentuate inspection campaigns throughout purchasing malls and public areas to determine and apprehend rioters and violators.
