    Three land port employees arrested for tampering with travel records

    The Land Ports Investigations Division of the Felony Investigation Division of has arrested three civilian staff working for the Common Division of Land Ports for tampering with the Ministry of Inside’s laptop system which s the entry and exit of vacationers.

    The authorities stated this occurred after receiving data that two staff — one stationed on the Nuwaiseeb border crossing and the opposite on the Salmi border crossing — had abused their official positions by getting into false journey knowledge into the system.

    They allegedly created fictitious entry and exit information for 2 feminine Kuwaiti residents who have been, in actuality, exterior the nation, reviews Al-Qabas every day

    Coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor revealed that the 2 ladies have been illegally receiving monetary help regardless of having left Kuwait months earlier.

    Verification by the Saudi authorities confirmed discrepancies between the precise border information and the information registered in Kuwait’s system, thereby exposing the fraud.

    Following the investigation, the Public Prosecution granted authorized authorization to detain the suspects. The primary two staff have been arrested at their workplaces and confessed to the fees, admitting the involvement of a 3rd worker from the Salmi Passports Division who assisted in manipulating the automated system.

    All three defendants have been referred to the competent judicial authorities, and authorized motion is being taken in accordance with the legislation.
