    31 Arab, Islamic nations condemn Netanyahu’s ‘Greater Israel’ remarks and settlement expansion

    RIYADH — International ministers from 31 Arab and Islamic nations, together with the heads of three regional organizations, issued a joint assertion strongly condemning current remarks by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu concerning the idea of a so-called “Higher Israel,” calling them a severe violation of worldwide legislation and a menace to regional and world stability.

    The assertion, issued following coordinated diplomatic efforts, described Netanyahu’s feedback as a “flagrant and harmful affront” to the principles of worldwide order and a direct problem to the sovereignty of countries and collective peace.

It was additionally endorsed by the Secretary-Basic of the Arab League, the Secretary-Basic of the Group of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), and the Secretary-Basic of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
