    10-member committee formed to oversee classification of engineering, consulting firms

    The Kuwait Municipality is receiving functions from engineering workplaces and consulting corporations in search of qualification and classification, according to efforts to reinforce oversight and requirements in undertaking planning and implementation.

    In a press release, the Municipality stated a 10-member committee is accountable for qualifying and classifying engineering workplaces and consulting corporations.

    The committee is chaired by Engineer Suleiman Al-Rashed, with Engineer Mohammed Al-Adwani from the Ministry of Inside serving as deputy chairman. The remaining members embrace 5 representatives from the Kuwait Municipality and 5 from the Ministry of Inside, making certain joint oversight and inter-agency coordination, studies Al-Rai day by day.

    The committee, fashioned pursuant to Administrative Decision No. 82/2025, has been tasked with a number of key obligations. Chief amongst these is growing clear standards and regulatory controls for qualifying and accrediting consulting corporations, specialised engineering workplaces, and worldwide consultancy entities working inside Kuwait.
