    Abu Dhabi Announces Weekend Road Closures on E12 Toward Saadiyat Island

    Abu Dhabi: Motorists are being urged to brace for delays this weekend as Abu Dhabi Mobility confirmed a short lived partial closure of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Street (E12) within the path of Saadiyat Island.

    The works shall be carried out in two phases. The primary part will see the closure of three left lanes from 10:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, till 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, 2025. The second part will then shut three proper lanes from 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, till 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 21, 2025.

    Authorities have suggested drivers commuting between Yas Island and Saadiyat Island to permit additional journey time, anticipate congestion, and think about different routes the place doable.

    The momentary closure is a part of scheduled upkeep works designed to reinforce site visitors circulate and enhance street security alongside one of many capital’s busiest and most significant corridors.
