    UAE telecom services trade up 4.3% to AED10.2 billion in 2024 – Business – Economy and Finance

    The UAE’s commerce in telecommunication companies elevated by 4.3 % in 2024, reaching AED10.2 billion, in comparison with AED9.8 billion in 2023, in response to information launched by the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Centre (FCSC).

    This progress was largely pushed by a powerful efficiency within the fourth quarter of 2024, which recorded a year-on-year enhance of 12.95 %, bringing the quarterly commerce worth in telecom companies to AED2.70 billion.

    The info additionally revealed that telecom service exports rose by 6.49 % in 2024 to AED4.9 billion, whereas imports grew by 2.38 % to AED5.3 billion.

    The fourth quarter recorded the very best share of annual telecommunications commerce at 26.45 %, adopted by the third quarter at 25.34 % (AED2.59 billion), the second quarter at 25.05 % (AED2.56 billion); and the primary quarter at 23.17 % (AED2.37 billion).
