WASHINGTON (Reuters) -U.S. President Donald Trump’s Center East envoy Steve Witkoff will journey to Europe this week for conferences on Israel’s warfare in Gaza and a variety of different points, a U.S. official mentioned on Tuesday, including Witkoff will proceed pushing for a ceasefire within the Palestinian enclave.
Axios reported that Witkoff is predicted to depart for Rome on Wednesday and arrive on Thursday for a gathering with Israeli Minister of Strategic AffairsRon Dermer and a senior Qatari envoy.
If ample progress is made, Witkoff will journey from Rome to Doha towards the top of the week to safe a deal, the information web site reported, citing a U.S. and an Israeli supply.
