    Dubai traffic: RTA adds new lane to cut Nad Al Hamar travel time by 27%

    Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has begun development of an 850m lane linking Ras Al Khor Street to Nad Al Hamar Intersection, alongside widening the storage lane on the intersection for automobiles turning left from Al Rebat Road.

    A part of the 2025 Fast Visitors Enhancements – Summer time 2025 Plan, the venture goals to ease congestion on two key corridors and is scheduled for completion by the tip of August.

    With the brand new lane in place, capability will improve by 33 per cent — from 4,800 to six,400 automobiles per hour — reducing journey time from quarter-hour to 11 minutes and bettering night peak visitors circulation by as much as 27 per cent.

    Dubai visitors enchancment

    The expanded storage lane can even cut back queuing at Nad Al Hamar Intersection, making certain smoother motion in the direction of Ras Al Khor Street.

    The improve is designed to serve visitors sure for Nad Al Hamar and surrounding areas resembling Al Rashidiya, Al Qusais, and Dubai Worldwide Airport, enhancing connectivity between residential communities and main locations.

    RTA says the enhancements will help higher each day mobility, highway security, and high quality of life for residents.
