    Empowering people with disabilities is a humanitarian, national responsibility: Al-Huwailah

    Minister of Social Affairs, Household and Childhood Affairs, Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, stated the ministry is dedicated to supporting and empowering folks with disabilities and enhancing their lively participation in society.

    She emphasised that this helpful group has confirmed that creativity is aware of no limits, that perception surpasses sight, and that dedication can overcome all circumstances.

    This was said to the Kuwait Information Company (KUNA) by Dr. Al-Huwailah throughout her sponsorship and attendance of the closing ceremony of the “Ibrahim Taher Al-Baghli Competitors for Distinguished Blind Folks 2025”, held in observance of Worldwide White Cane Day on October 15.

    The ceremony was organized by the Girl Nafisa Charitable Basis in collaboration with the Kuwait Blind Affiliation, with participation from a number of governmental and civil organizations devoted to supporting people with visible impairments.

    Dr. Al-Huwailah said that the competitors offers a chance to have fun perseverance, excellence, and creativity, honoring the distinctive achievements of gifted people who embody the true that means of dedication and success.

    She praised the efforts of the organizing our bodies in making a secure and inspiring setting that allows members to showcase their abilities and capabilities.

    The Minister added that the competitors displays the values of solidarity, cooperation, and charitable work, whereas strengthening partnerships between authorities establishments and civil society to serve the nation and its folks. She prolonged her gratitude to all these concerned in organizing the occasion—committees, directors, and volunteers—for his or her dedication and contribution to its success.

    Al-Huwailah pressured that empowering folks with disabilities is each a nationwide obligation and a humanitarian mission, aligned with the priorities of Kuwait’s clever management. She recommended the state’s laws and providers that promote the combination and empowerment of individuals with disabilities throughout instructional, skilled, and social fields—implementing the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah that place the human being on the coronary heart of nationwide growth.

    For his half, Ibrahim Al-Baghli, Chairman of the Board of Administrators of the Nafisa Charitable Basis, underscored the significance of supporting and empowering the visually impaired, describing them as people blessed with “gentle of coronary heart, intelligence of thoughts, strength of mind, and purity of conscience.” He stated that true power lies in perception, not sight, and that these disadvantaged of imaginative and prescient usually excel by means of their internal power and dedication.

    Al-Baghli famous that the competitors represents an essential step towards empowering the blind and inspiring them to attain and contribute meaningfully to society. He expressed his gratitude to Minister Al-Huwailah for her patronage and to Fayez Lafi Al-Azmi, President of the Kuwait Blind Affiliation, and the Board members for his or her steady humanitarian efforts to assist and uplift the visually impaired group.
