    Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport to Pilot Digital Wallet for Seamless Cashless Travel

    In a daring step towards cashless and digitally enhanced journey, Abu Dhabi Airports has partnered with Al Hail Holding to pilot a regulated digital pockets for inbound travellers at Zayed Worldwide Airport. The initiative, introduced beneath a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marks a key milestone within the UAE’s mission to strengthen its place as a worldwide chief in tourism, fintech, and digital innovation.

    The pilot challenge goals to make journey extra handy and environment friendly by enabling passengers to make funds throughout the airport ecosystem utilizing a safe digital pockets. This transfer aligns with the UAE’s Digital Economic system Technique and Abu Dhabi Financial Imaginative and prescient 2030, which search to foster a world-class digital infrastructure and sustainable financial progress.

    Beneath the settlement, a joint steering committee will handle the challenge’s rollout. Abu Dhabi Airports will present operational infrastructure and help, whereas Al Hail Holding will oversee governance, compliance, and regulatory engagement. Xare, a UAE-based fintech firm, will function the expertise companion powering the pockets’s platform.
