    Ajman has unveiled a brand new plan with diminished hours and distant work on Fridays.

    The “Balanced Summer season” initiative for presidency workers is aimed toward selling work-life steadiness, household cohesion, and environmental sustainability throughout the summer time months.

    The plan was authorized throughout a meeting of the Ajman Executive Council chaired by Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman.

    Underneath the initiative, 100 per cent distant work shall be in impact each Friday from July 1 to August 22, 2025.

    As well as, working hours from Monday to Thursday shall be diminished to seven hours, operating from 7.30 am to 2.30 pm throughout all authorities entities. Key options of  the Balanced Summer season initiative embody:

    • 100 per cent distant work on Fridays (July 1 – August 22)
    • Diminished workplace hours: Monday to Thursday, 7.30 am – 2.30pm

    The initiative aligns with the UAE’s “Yr of Neighborhood” and Ajman Imaginative and prescient 2030, aiming to help household stability, worker happiness, and environmental targets by lowering commuting emissions.

    Sheikh Ammar acknowledged that human well-being is central to authorities success, emphasising {that a} supportive and versatile work atmosphere results in increased institutional effectivity and higher public service supply.

    The Ajman Human Assets Division, in coordination with the Normal Secretariat of the Government Council, will oversee implementation and consider the initiative’s outcomes associated to efficiency, satisfaction, and group affect.
