    RIYADH — Minister of Human Sources and Social Improvement and Chairman of the Nationwide Council for Occupational Security and Well being Ahmed Al-Rajhi launched on Monday the Regulation on Occupational Health and Non-Communicable Ailments Examinations.

    The regulation goals to allow early detection of non-communicable illnesses, improve employees’ well being in workplaces, cut back occupational illnesses and accidents, and make sure the correct number of candidates for delicate professions. It additionally seeks to strengthen office prevention measures, enhance the standard of life and public well being for employees, and positively affect their security, efficiency, and productiveness.

    The regulation contributes to decreasing occupational accidents, accidents, and illnesses by reinforcing early preventive medical examinations and elevating employees’ bodily and psychological health, guaranteeing they carry out their duties effectively and safely. It additionally organizes mechanisms for pre-employment, periodic, and distinctive medical examinations for high-risk professions, with the aim of defending employees’ well being and standardizing medical examination varieties according to the necessities of every occupation.
