    Arab and regional FMs back Syria’s unity, condemn Israeli strikes

    RIYADH — International ministers from 11 Arab and regional nations reaffirmed their help for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity whereas strongly condemning continued Israeli assaults on Syrian territory.

    The ministers — representing Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the UAE, Bahrain, Türkiye, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, and Egypt — issued a joint assertion following two days of intensive consultations geared toward supporting Syria’s stability and ending exterior interference in its inside affairs.

    The ministers emphasised their unified stance in supporting the Syrian authorities’s efforts to revive safety and order all through the nation.

    They welcomed the ceasefire settlement in Suwayda province and referred to as for its full implementation to guard civilians, reestablish state authority, and protect nationwide unity.

    The assertion additionally praised Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa’s dedication to holding accountable these answerable for latest violence in Suwayda and voiced help for nationwide efforts geared toward reinforcing the rule of regulation and selling reconciliation.

    Condemning Israel’s repeated airstrikes as flagrant violations of worldwide regulation, the overseas ministers warned that these aggressive actions pose a direct menace to Syria’s sovereignty and threat destabilizing the area.

    They confused that Syria’s safety is a crucial pillar for broader regional peace and should not be compromised by continued hostilities.
