    Arab-Islamic summit to back Qatar after Israeli attack

    DOHA (Reuters) -An Arab-Islamic leaders summit in Doha on Monday is anticipated to rally help for Qatar within the wake of final week’s Israeli assault focusing on the Palestinian militant group Hamas within the Gulf state.

    The assault, which Hamas says killed 5 of its members however not its management, has prompted U.S.-allied Gulf Arab states to shut ranks, including to strains in ties between the United Arab Emirates and Israel, which normalised relations in 2020.

    NETANYAHU KEEPS UP PRESSURE
