RIYADH — The Nationwide Heart for Wildlife has addressed a broadly circulated video displaying baboons in elements of Riyadh, confirming that the difficulty is being actively monitored and managed.
In an announcement, the middle mentioned the vast majority of the issue has already been addressed, and efforts are ongoing to finish the remaining measures.
It clarified that the baboons noticed aren’t inside their pure habitat vary and attributed their presence to people who had stored the animals as pets and later launched them.
The middle emphasised the risks of proudly owning wild animals and urged the general public to report related circumstances by means of its devoted hotline.
The video, which sparked public concern, confirmed a number of baboons roaming one of many valleys within the Riyadh area.
