CE-Ventures, the company enterprise capital arm of Crescent Enterprises, has introduced its participation within the $100m Sequence B funding spherical for US-based nuclear know-how firm Aalo Atomics, which is creating superior modular nuclear reactors to energy the following era of AI information centres.

The spherical was led by Valor Fairness Companions with participation from CE-Ventures, Advantageous Construction Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Crosscut Ventures, and others.

Based in 2022, Aalo Atomics has already achieved fast progress and was just lately chosen by the US Division of Vitality (DOE) for fast-tracked testing of its superior nuclear know-how.

The Sequence B funding will assist the corporate in constructing its first nuclear energy plant, with the aim of reaching zero-power criticality by July 2026 — a significant step in the direction of proving how mass-manufactured modular reactors can ship dependable, scalable, clear energy.

This milestone comes because the US accelerates next-generation nuclear improvement to satisfy the surging power calls for of the AI period.

Sudarshan Pareek, Senior Vice President at CE-Ventures, mentioned: “We’re at a pivotal second for superior nuclear know-how, and we view Aalo Atomics as a real chief on this new atomic age.

“The surge in AI adoption is driving unprecedented demand for dependable power, and nuclear energy can play an important function in assembly this demand with clear, scalable options”.

CE-Ventures’ international portfolio consists of strategic investments throughout frontier applied sciences, together with AI and infrastructure ecosystems, constructing on Crescent Enterprises and Crescent Group’s legacy in know-how, power, and UAE-US infrastructure partnerships.

Matt Loszak, CEO of Aalo Atomics, mentioned: “We’re past excited to announce Aalo’s $100m Sequence B. We now have the capital to construct our first nuclear energy plant, the Aalo-X, which we’re aiming to activate subsequent summer season.

“This could possibly be the primary superior nuclear energy plant to realize criticality within the US in many years. The Aalo group is extraordinarily grateful to all of our backers for giving us this once-in-a-generation alternative to assist nuclear power fulfil its potential.”

The DOE’s Reactor Pilot Programme, launched in June 2025, goals to speed up testing of superior nuclear applied sciences.

Aalo Atomics has been chosen underneath the programme to construct its demonstration plant, the place it plans to put in an experimental information centre — showcasing first-of-its-kind reactors immediately powering AI infrastructure.

With the Worldwide Vitality Company (IEA) projecting that electrical energy demand from AI-optimised information centres will greater than quadruple by 2030, Aalo’s method highlights how next-generation nuclear power could possibly be the clear answer to powering the AI-driven financial system.
