    China, EU leaders meet in Beijing to discuss advancing relations – World

    Chinese language President Xi Jinping met with European Council President Antonio Costa and European Fee President Ursula von der Leyen in Beijing on Thursday, because the twenty fifth China-EU Summit opened with the purpose of strengthening relations.

    Through the summit, President Xi Jinping acknowledged that Chinese language and European leaders should “make right strategic selections that meet the expectations of the individuals and stand the check of historical past,” in keeping with China Central Tv (CCTV).

    Von der Leyen described the summit as a possibility to “each advance and rebalance our relationship.”

    The summit holds explicit significance because it coincides with the fiftieth anniversary of the institution of diplomatic ties between China and the European Union.
