    Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of many three chambers working underneath the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, has efficiently concluded its commerce mission to Malaysia and Cambodia. The chamber organised 189 bilateral enterprise conferences within the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh, between corporations from Dubai and Cambodia to discover new partnership alternatives throughout numerous sectors.

     

    As a part of the mission, the chamber hosted the ‘Doing Enterprise with Cambodia’ Discussion board in cooperation with the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates within the Kingdom of Thailand (presently serving because the UAE’s Non-Resident Embassy to Cambodia), the Ministry of Commerce in Cambodia, the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, and the Council for the Improvement of Cambodia (CDC).

     

    The discussion board featured welcome remarks delivered by H.E.Tekreth Kamrang, Secretary of State, Ministry of Commerce, Kingdom of Cambodia; Neak Oknha Kith Meng, President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and Chair of ASEAN Enterprise Advisory Council- Cambodia; Salem Al Shamsi, Government Vice President of Worldwide Relations at Dubai Chambers, and Suon Sophal, Deputy Secretary Normal of the Cambodia Funding Board, Council for the Improvement of Cambodia (CDC) who offered a presentation on exploring Cambodia’s financial progress.

     

    Greater than 357 senior officers, enterprise leaders, and representatives of native corporations attended the discussion board to discover avenues for cooperation and partnership alternatives between members of the Dubai delegation and the Cambodian enterprise neighborhood.

     

    Salem Al Shamsi, Government Vice President of Worldwide Relations at Dubai Chambers, commented: “We’re dedicated to enabling Dubai-based corporations to construct sturdy partnerships in precedence markets and opening new paths for worldwide enlargement. These actions assist the sustainable progress of Dubai’s enterprise neighborhood and reinforce the emirate’s place as a number one international enterprise hub.”

     

    Dubai’s non-oil commerce with Cambodia elevated to AED 1.4 billion in 2024, representing year-on-year progress of three%.

    The delegation from Dubai featured representatives from 16 Dubai-based private-sector corporations working throughout numerous industries together with constructing supplies and development; engineering; FMCG buying and selling; meals and drinks; healthcare, retail; ready-made clothes; textiles; magnificence and cosmetics; and the oil and fuel sector.
