    Dubai RTA to launch 5 new bus routes and upgrade 9 others from August 29

    Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will launch 5 new public bus routes on August 29, 2025, whereas upgrading 9 current routes to enhance passenger comfort and meet rising demand for public transport throughout the emirate.

    Adel Shakri, Director of Planning and Enterprise Improvement at RTA’s Public Transport Company, mentioned: “RTA is constantly dedicated to increasing and creating public bus providers to help Dubai’s public transport community, be in concord with the Emirate’s inhabitants development, city enlargement, and the progress witnessed throughout all sectors.”

    New Dubai bus routes

    • Route 31: Dubai Outsource Metropolis – Dubai Silicon Oasis (20-minute intervals throughout peak hours)
    • Route 62A: Al Qusais Industrial Space – Al Qusais Metro Station
    • Route 62B: Al Qusais Metro Station – Ras Al Khor (Samari Residences), each half-hour in peak hours
    • Route F26A: Onpassive Bus Station – Al Quoz Industrial Space 4 (30-minute peak frequency)
    • Route X91: Categorical service between Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and Jebel Ali Bus Station (skips Enterprise Bay Metro)

    9 routes can be adjusted on the identical date to reinforce connectivity and every day mobility:

    • Route 7: Transformed from round to two-directional, linking Al Quoz Bus Station and Al Satwa Bus Station
    • Route 91: Shortened to function between Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and Enterprise Bay Metro Station
    • Route F62: Transformed to two-directional, between Emirates Metro Station and Nad Al Hamar
    • Route 77: Transformed to two-directional, between Baniyas Sq. Metro Station and Al Garhoud
    • Route X25: Shortened to run between Al Karama Bus Station and Dubai Silicon Oasis
    • Route 50: Continues between Worldwide Metropolis Bus Station and Enterprise Bay Bus Station, however will now not serve Dubai Outsource Metropolis
    • Route 21A: Shortened to run between Al Quoz Bus Station and Al Ghubaiba Bus Station
    • Route 21B: Shortened to function between Al Ghubaiba Bus Station and Al Quoz Bus Station
    • Route J01: Adjusted routing inside Jumeirah Village Circle

    RTA mentioned the modifications are a part of its wider technique to develop the general public bus community and combine it extra carefully with Dubai’s metro, tram, and marine transport techniques.

    Adel Shakri added: “Enhancing the connectivity amongst these modes will make public transport the optimum selection for mobility throughout the emirate.”
