    Dubai’s DP World and ITOCHU partner to help Japanese businesses access Africa

    Dubai-based DP World will associate with Japan’s ITOCHU Company, one of many largest buying and selling corporations within the nation, to assist discover alternatives to boost connectivity and market entry throughout Africa and assist Japanese companies that intend to ascertain or develop their presence on the continent.

    The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed through the Tokyo Worldwide Convention on African Growth (TICAD9) held in Yokohama, Japan, and goals to develop logistics, provide chain infrastructure, and distribution capabilities in sub-Saharan Africa. Preliminary discussions are centered on fleet and logistics operations, provide chain optimisation, and distribution of commodities and meals merchandise.

    Headquartered in Tokyo, ITOCHU has many years of expertise in commodities, wholesale commerce, and client items throughout Africa. Its diversified portfolio spans textiles, equipment, power, chemical compounds, meals, and normal client items, giving it a powerful basis to assist Japanese companies increasing into Africa.

    DP World operates in 48 nations throughout the continent with a large community of ports, terminals and logistics belongings from warehouses to vans.
