    Etihad Rail CEO meets Kuwait minister to discuss GCC railway cooperation

    A delegation from Etihad Rail, headed by CEO Shadi Malak, met with Dr. Noura Mohammed Khaled Al-Mishaan, Minister of Public Works of the State of Kuwait, to debate joint cooperation and experience change in railway infrastructure growth throughout GCC nations.

    Throughout the assembly, Minister Dr. Al-Mishaan outlined Kuwait’s dedication to studying from railway growth experiences within the area, citing the UAE-Oman partnership in establishing Hafeet Rail as a reference level.

    The minister emphasised that collaboration within the railway sector demonstrates Kuwait’s assist for Gulf integration and financial connectivity between GCC states.

    She harassed the necessity for continued coordination between technical groups to ship tasks that meet regional growth necessities.

    Eid Al Rashidi, Underneath-Secretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Public Works, highlighted the ministry’s give attention to utilising regional experiences, stating that early collaboration throughout planning and execution phases is essential for constructing a rail community that helps regional integration and growth aims.

    The assembly featured a technical presentation detailing Kuwait’s railway venture plans.

    Minister Dr. Al-Mishaan outlined the ministry’s imaginative and prescient to ascertain a nationwide railway community based mostly on regional and worldwide practices, incorporating environmental and financial issues that align with Kuwait’s sustainable growth targets.

    The discussions between Etihad Rail and Kuwait’s Ministry of Public Works signify a part of broader efforts to reinforce transport connectivity throughout the Gulf area by means of coordinated railway infrastructure growth.
