    Finance Ministry fines three foreign firms 37.9 million dinars for tax violations

    The Ministry of Finance introduced the evaluation of income and penalties on three international firms for failing to submit tax declarations and required monetary statements, with complete dues reaching 37.935 million dinars.

    In response to the Ministry, the primary firm, primarily based in the UK, didn’t file tax declarations for fiscal years between December 31, 2014, and December 31, 2019. Its excellent dues amounted to 22.229 million dinars.

    The second firm, primarily based in India, didn’t submit its declaration for the fiscal 12 months ending December 31, 2015, incurring dues of three.819 million dinars.

    In the meantime, the third firm, primarily based in France, didn’t file declarations masking fiscal years from December 31, 2014, by means of December 31, 2024, with a complete of 11.887 million dinars in excellent quantities.

    The Ministry confirmed that the penalties have been imposed because of the firms’ non-compliance with tax laws, underscoring its dedication to imposing fiscal self-discipline and guaranteeing adherence to Kuwait’s tax legal guidelines.
