    Mrs. Shyamala Divakaran, the founding principal of Gulf Indian College (GIS) in Fahaheel, Kuwait, handed away on July 17 in her hometown in Kerala on the age of 78, she is survived by her husband and two youngsters, Dr. Aruna and Dr. Rajeev.

    Spanning a profession of over 5 many years of schooling in Kuwait she was effectively revered and extensively admired for her unwavering dedication to tutorial excellence and group values. Mrs Divakaran started her profession in Kuwait as a arithmetic instructor on the Indian College Fahaheel within the late 70’s.

    Mrs. Divakaran performed a pioneering position in establishing GIS in 1994 responding to a rising demand for high quality CBSE schooling, she established the college to cater to the Indian group calls for.
