    GASTAT: Nearly 70% of Saudis under age of 35

    RIYADH — Saudis below the age of 35 comprised 69.4 % of the overall Saudi inhabitants. This information was revealed by the Basic Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) on the event of the Worldwide Youth Day, which falls on August 12.

    The GASTAT information from 2024 confirmed that the age group between 15 and 34 accounted for 35.9 % of the inhabitants, with an almost equal gender distribution of fifty.3 % male and 49.7 % feminine. Concerning Saudis and non-Saudis, people below 35 made up 61.4 % of the overall inhabitants.

    Within the report, the GASTAT emphasised the important position of youth in shaping Saudi Arabia’s improvement and future. These figures spotlight that Saudi Arabia has a younger and dynamic inhabitants, positioning its youth as a key driver of the nation’s future prosperity and nationwide improvement.
