    GTD reports 1,646 accidents, over 32,000 violations in weeklong campaign

    The Common Visitors Division continues its nationwide campaigns to implement visitors self-discipline throughout all governorates.

    From October 18 to 24, the Ministry of Inside below the supervision of Main Common Hamed Al-Dawas, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Safety Affairs, and Brigadier Abdullah Al-Ateeqi, head of the sector has recorded 1,646 visitors accidents, together with 267 leading to accidents or fatalities and 1,379 inflicting solely materials harm, studies Al-Anba day by day.

    A complete of 32,313 visitors violations had been recorded throughout the six governorates as follows:

    • Highways: 6,649 violations
    • Farwaniya: 5,162
    • Capital: 4,810
    • Ahmadi: 4,809
    • Jahra: 4,112
    • Hawalli: 3,819

    The campaigns additionally led to 256 automobiles and 27 bikes being impounded; referral of 45 juveniles to the Juvenile Prosecution; 58 violators despatched to the Visitors Division for severe breaches of visitors legal guidelines; 54 residency violators arrested and 9 people detained for driving automobiles in unsafe situations.

    The Common Visitors Division emphasised its continued dedication to enhancing highway security and curbing visitors violations throughout Kuwait.
