PESHAWAR, Pakistan (Reuters) -Gunmen attacked a paramilitary power headquarters in Pakistan’s northwestern metropolis of Peshawar on Monday, police mentioned.
The complicated, the headquarters of the frontier constabulary paramilitary power, was additionally hit by two suicide bombers, sources informed Reuters, including that three individuals had been killed.
“The primary suicide bomber first carried out an assault on the principle entrance of the constabulary and the opposite one entered the compound,” a senior official informed Reuters on situation of anonymity.
“Regulation enforcement personnel, together with the military and police, have cordoned off the world and are rigorously dealing with the scenario as we suspect there are some terrorists contained in the headquarters,” the official added.
The headquarters of the power is situated in a crowded space, near a army cantonment.
“The street has been closed for site visitors and cordoned off by the military, police and (safety) personnel,” Safdar Khan, a resident of the world, informed Reuters.
