    ‘Identity and Citizenship’ warns against online accounts misleading customers with promises of fast-track services – UAE

    The Federal Authority for Id, Citizenship, Customs & Port Safety has urged all clients—residents, residents, and guests wishing to return to or reside and work within the United Arab Emirates—to train warning when making use of for companies and to rely solely on authorised channels.

    The Authority warned towards responding to deceptive ads promoted by unauthorized places of work or firms via web sites and social media platforms.

    The Authority emphasised that it gives its companies via simplified and user-friendly procedures by way of official authorised channels, together with its web site, good utility, and authorised service centres and typing places of work throughout the nation.

    It clarified that it has not granted any particular privileges or facilitations to places of work or firms that publicize on social media claiming to supply sooner companies with fewer procedures, with the goal of deceptive clients and accumulating cash with out authorized foundation.

    The Authority warned of the rising presence of unlawful on-line practices carried out by sure accounts on social media and web sites, the place such entities promote companies allegedly provided by the Authority, claiming to expedite authorities companies with out fulfilling the required laws or authorised requirements, in alternate for extreme charges.

    The Authority pressured that these entities depend on misleading promoting techniques to use clients, which damages the Authority’s fame, creates safety vulnerabilities, and contributes to the expansion of a black market that undermines equity and transparency in service supply.

    It confirmed that these suspicious practices are being monitored in preparation for taking the mandatory authorized actions in coordination with the competent authorized authorities within the nation.
