(Reuters) -The Israeli navy is attacking Houthi targets in Yemen’s Hodeidah port, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz mentioned in a press release on Monday.
Katz mentioned the military is “forcefully countering any try to revive the phobia infrastructure beforehand attacked”.
Since Israel’s conflict in Gaza in opposition to the Palestinian militant group Hamas started in October 2023, the Iran-aligned Houthis have been attacking vessels within the Pink Sea in what they are saying are acts of solidarity with the Palestinians.
Israel has responded by launching assaults on Houthis, who management essentially the most populous a part of Yemen, together with the very important Hodeidah port.
