    KFAED signs $685,000 grant agreement with FAO to enhance agricultural authority performance

    The Kuwait Fund for Arab Financial Growth (KFAED) has signed a grant settlement with the Meals and Agriculture Group of the United Nations (FAO) to assist a undertaking aimed toward bettering the general efficiency of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Sources (PAAAFR).

    The signing ceremony was attended by key officers, together with the Minister of Electrical energy and Water, the Minister of Finance, the Performing Minister of State for Financial Affairs and Funding, and Dr. Subaih Al-Mukhaizeem, Chairman of the Board of Administrators of PAAAFR.     Beneath the settlement, KFAED will present a grant of US$685,000 (roughly 214,000 Kuwaiti dinars) to FAO to finance research that may improve the institutional and operational capabilities of PAAAFR.

    The grant settlement was signed on behalf of FAO by Abdulhakim Al-Waer, Assistant Director-Basic and Regional Consultant for the Close to East and North Africa, whereas Walid Al-Bahar, Performing Director-Basic of KFAED, signed on behalf of the Fund.

    The undertaking goals to develop a complete roadmap for strengthening PAAAFR’s institutional efficiency, together with implementing chosen initiatives and initiatives designed to enhance effectivity and effectiveness throughout the Authority.
