    Kuwait, EU ‘join hands’ to fight money laundering and terrorist financing

    A Kuwaiti delegation led by the Chairman of the Nationwide Committee for Combating Cash Laundering and Terrorist Financing, Dr. Hamad Al-Makrad, held talks with senior officers on the European Fee on Friday to reinforce joint efforts in countering cash laundering and terrorist financing.

    The delegation additionally included Ambassador Hamad Al-Mashaan, Chairman of the Committee for Implementing Safety Council Resolutions and member of the Nationwide Committee.

    In an announcement to the Kuwait Information Company (KUNA), the Kuwaiti Embassy in Brussels mentioned the assembly came about with John Breggan, Director-Common for Monetary Stability, Monetary Providers and the Capital Markets Union on the European Fee.
