    Kuwait foils liquor smuggling attempt in 20-foot container

    Appearing on the directives of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Inside Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to strengthen customs management and curb smuggling, the Normal Administration of Customs at Shuwaikh Port, in coordination with the Customs Investigation and Analysis Division and with assist from the Kuwait Hearth Power, thwarted an try to smuggle a big amount of liquor hidden inside a 20-foot container arriving from a European nation, reported Al Rai newspaper.

    After suspicions arose concerning the contents of the container, which carried reels of strong cable, an intensive inspection was carried out.
