    Latifa bint Mohammed and Māori Queen Meet to Bolster Cultural Ties – Arts & culture

    Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Tradition and Arts Authority, welcomed the Māori Queen from New Zealand, Her Majesty Ngā Wai Hono i te Po, throughout her go to to Dubai. The assembly underscored the dedication of each nations to deepening cultural dialogue and exploring new avenues of cooperation between the peoples of the UAE and New Zealand.

    Discussions centred on strengthening cultural ties between the UAE and New Zealand, highlighting the shared values of heritage preservation, creativity, and group. The assembly additionally explored alternatives for collaboration between the Māori group and the UAE inside the framework of the Complete Financial Partnership Settlement, emphasising tradition as a cornerstone of sustainable partnerships.

    Her Highness Sheikha Latifa was accompanied by Her Excellency Maryam Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary Common of The UAE Cupboard; Her Excellency Huda Al Hashimi, Deputy Minister of Cupboard Affairs for Strategic Affairs, Ministry of Cupboard Affairs; in addition to different senior officers.

    The Māori Queen was joined by His Excellency Richard Kay, New Zealand’s Ambassador to the UAE, senior officers from the Kingiitanga (the Māori Monarchy Motion) and officers from the New Zealand Embassy in Abu Dhabi.
