    Latifa bint Mohammed Tours Asia Pacific Cities Summit – Arts & culture

    Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Tradition and Arts Authority (Dubai Tradition) attended the opening day of the Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors’ Discussion board at Expo Metropolis Dubai, throughout which she toured key exhibitions and reviewed the most recent world improvements in sustainable city planning and resilient infrastructure.

    Underscoring Dubai’s dedication to constructing cities which can be good, sustainable and culturally vibrant, Her Highness stated: “Past serving as a platform for financial dialogue and concrete planning, the worldwide cities summit highlights cities because the world’s best incubators of tradition and innovation – areas the place creativity thrives, forward-thinking concepts emerge, cultures intersect, and humanity is enriched. City improvement reaches its fullest potential solely when financial development is united with cultural and human improvement.”

    On the sidelines of the Summit, Her Highness met with Yuriko Koike, Governor of Tokyo, Japan, to debate methods to strengthen cooperation and partnership between the cities of Dubai and Tokyo, and to discover alternatives for advancing relations within the fields of improvement, creativity, and information change.

    The assembly was attended by Her Excellency Hessa Buhumaid, Director Normal of the Neighborhood Growth Authority in Dubai; Her Excellency Hala Badri, Director Normal of the Dubai Tradition and Arts Authority; and His Excellency Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director Normal of Dubai Municipality. The Japanese delegation included Akira Sato, Director Normal of the Workplace of the Governor for Coverage Planning, and Atsushi Kuwabara, Particular Advisor to the Governor on Worldwide Affairs, together with different senior officers.

    Her Highness explored a number of key showcases – together with the Authorities of Dubai and the Digital Dubai stands – which highlighted the emirate’s newest initiatives to reinforce high quality of life and drive good transformation.
