    Liquor smuggling attempt foiled; two in police custody

    A coordinated effort between the Basic Division of Narcotics Management and the Basic Administration of Customs led to the arrest of two bootleggers who tried to smuggle international alcohol into the nation.

    In response to safety sources, the customs officers grew suspicious of a transport container arriving at Shuaiba Port from an unidentified Gulf nation.

    Although it was listed as empty, an in depth inspection uncovered hidden compartments within the container’s flooring the place packaged liquor bottles have been professionally hid.

    Following the invention, customs officers coordinated with the Basic Division of Narcotics Management, which initiated a discipline investigation. Below tight surveillance, the container was allowed to proceed to its meant vacation spot — a warehouse within the Ahmadi space.

    There, officers executed a well-planned ambush, resulting in the arrest of two Indians as they ready to obtain the container.

    Preliminary interrogations revealed that the pair have been appearing upon directions on an unidentified particular person residing in India, who had instructed them to promote the alcohol inside Kuwait.

    Investigations are ongoing to establish extra accomplices and networks linked to the case.
