The Ministry of Commerce and Trade has closed 11 business shops within the Jahra Governorate for displaying and promoting counterfeit and imitation merchandise.
In a press release, the ministry mentioned the inspection groups carried out a focused marketing campaign in coordination with the competent authorities, specializing in markets and stores suspected of buying and selling in pretend items.
The inspections revealed massive portions of counterfeit objects, together with branded clothes, equipment, perfumes, and shopper merchandise, in violation of mental property and trademark safety legal guidelines, based on information stories.
Authorized measures are being taken towards the violators, who now face potential fines and different penalties underneath Kuwait’s business and anti-counterfeiting rules.
