    Ministry of Culture launches ‘Path of Creativity’ Program to train and employ Emiratis in Cultural and Creative industries

    The Ministry of Tradition – in collaboration with the Emirati Expertise Competitiveness Council ‘Nafis,’ the Common Girls’s Union, and UAE Media Council – is about to launch ‘Path of Creativity’ program, geared toward supporting residents searching for employment within the cultural and inventive industries. This system can be hosted on the Maqam Council in Al Ain Metropolis on 25 September 2025, bringing collectively federal and native entities in addition to non-public sector firms.

    The initiative is designed to attach Emirati creatives with job alternatives that align with their expertise and experience, guaranteeing their abilities are totally utilised whereas strengthening the contribution of the cultural and inventive industries to the nation’s economic system. By establishing direct communication channels between creatives and personal sector establishments, this system seeks to streamline the employment course of and foster collaborations throughout numerous artistic fields.

    Moreover, this system goals to develop the skilled expertise of creatives by offering specialised coaching and qualification packages that assist them adapt to completely different work environments. The initiative additionally seeks to encourage creatives to take part in worldwide tasks, exhibitions, and packages that improve their presence on the worldwide stage.

    As a part of this program, the Ministry of Tradition will place as much as 300 interns yearly throughout numerous fields, together with music, pictures, positive arts, publishing, library sciences, gaming, graphic and architectural design, expertise, media, and the broader artistic economic system. These one-year paid internships will present hands-on coaching, enabling trainees to contribute meaningfully to ongoing tasks and initiatives.

    The Ministry of Tradition affirmed its dedication to nurturing Emirati expertise by offering a stimulating coaching surroundings that allows trainees to contribute to the sustainable improvement journey and improve the position of the cultural and inventive industries as a elementary pillar for attaining the ‘UAE Imaginative and prescient 2030,’ which goals to construct a diversified and sustainable economic system based mostly on data and innovation.

    This system will begin within the third quarter of 2025 with 50 interns, increase to 100 interns within the fourth quarter, and conclude in September 2026.

    In 2024, the Ministry of Tradition, in collaboration with ‘Nafis,’ efficiently facilitated the employment of 485 female and male UAE residents via the ‘Creatives for Employment’ program.
