    Mohammed bin Rashid Honors Recipients of UAE Order of Culture and Creativity – Arts & culture

    Within the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court docket,  honoured recipients of the UAE Order for Tradition and Creativity in its second version, on the UAE Authorities Annual Conferences 2025 held in Abu Dhabi.

    H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed remarked, “Tradition and creativity are basic pillars of the UAE’s imaginative and prescient and strategy to improvement. They symbolize the essence of our nationwide identification and the cultural openness that defines the nation.     H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed added, “The UAE Order for Tradition and Creativity is a prestigious recognition for an inspiring elite, whose achievements reinforce this important focus. This honour is motivation to creatives to proceed their contributions, which solidify the UAE’s cultural and humanitarian standing and maximise the function of our tradition, creativity, and nationwide delight in our nation’s improvement journey.

    The ceremony was attended by H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of Ajman Govt Council; H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah; H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council; H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain; H.H. Lieutenant Common Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Inside; H.H. Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Nationwide Olympic Committee; and H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Tradition and Arts Authority.

    A nationwide initiative organised by the Ministry of Tradition, the UAE Order for Tradition and Creativity is the UAE’s highest cultural honour, celebrates distinctive skills whose creative and inventive contributions have considerably enriched the UAE’s cultural panorama and elevated its affect on each regional and worldwide platforms. Via these achievements, the Order underscores the authenticity and significance of the UAE’s cultural and nationwide identification.

    Globally, it positions the UAE as a frontrunner in cultural innovation, inspiring collaboration and recognition inside the worldwide inventive neighborhood. For future generations, the Order establishes a legacy of cultural delight and ambition, encouraging younger creatives to pursue their ardour and contribute meaningfully to the UAE’s evolving cultural panorama.

    Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Cultur, mentioned: “The UAE Order for Tradition and Creativity helps Emirati cultural expertise, and demonstrates the UAE’s dedication to enhancing cultural and inventive industries: A dedication rooted in our perception within the energy of tradition to counterpoint human lives and societies.”

    He added: “This Order is a strategic driver, motivating the creators and supporters of tradition to interrupt new floor and set distinctive examples that flip creativity into heritage. It displays the UAE’s imaginative and prescient to solidify its standing as a number one international hub for cultural innovation and an incubator of mental and creative excellence.”

    Recipients of the UAE Order for Tradition and Creativity within the Custodian Tier embrace Eng. Rashad Bukhash, a number one skilled within the preservation of Emirati architectural heritage (Class: Design and Structure); Ibrahim Juma, musician, composer and an influential determine within the UAE’s musical scene (Class: Music); Ismail Abdullah Al Hammadi, a pioneer of the theatre and performing arts scene within the UAE and the Arab world (Class: Performing Arts and Theatre); Dr. Arif Al Sheikh, famend poet who wrote the lyrics of the UAE Nationwide Anthem (Class: Literature and the Arabic Language); and Dr. Mohamed Yousef Al Hammadi, a founding father of the UAE’s nice arts motion ( Class: Visible and Digital Arts).
