    MOI busts drug-running armed gang; vows no mercy

    The Common Division for Combating Narcotics, has taken into custody three bedoun who have been caught red-handed in possession of narcotics and a lethal arsenal of unlicensed firearms and ammunition.

    The Ministry confirmed that the arrest of a ruthless, armed prison gang is a part of relentless efforts to annihilate drug trafficking and distribution networks that poison society and threaten nationwide safety.

    The arrest got here after the safety authorities labored on a tip-off that the gang was working a clandestine drug warehouse within the Salmi desert, which was used as a retailer to distribute narcotics, experiences Al-Rai day by day.

    The plainclothes males have seized roughly 4 kilograms of cannabis, 100 grams of marijuana, 1 kilogram of Lyrica powder, and a staggering 25,000 capsules and tablets of psychotropic substances. In addition they seized three digital precision scales, two assault rifles (Kalashnikovs), six pistols, and an arsenal of ammunition.

    The Ministry declared that each one suspects and seized contraband have been handed over to competent authorities for authorized motion. The marketing campaign towards drug-related crime stays vigorous and unwavering, aimed toward eradicating these poisoners who jeopardize the protection and stability of the nation.
