    MOJ launches second phase of training program to combat public funds violations

    Minister of Justice, Counselor Nasser Al-Sumait, introduced the launch of the second section of the specialised coaching program for authorized personnel in authorities businesses, developed in cooperation with the Kuwait Institute for Judicial and Authorized Research.

    This system goals to strengthen the talents of authorized workers in figuring out and investigating instances involving assaults on public funds, and to reinforce their preparedness in confronting such violations.

    In a press release to Al-Rai, Al-Sumait revealed that official statistics recorded 107 instances of embezzlement of public funds throughout the first six months of 2025. These instances concerned 34 authorities entities that have been subjected to assaults or suspicions associated to public funds.

    The brand new section of this system features a collection of lectures and workshops led by members of the judiciary and specialists from regulatory and monetary authorities.

    It’s designed to unify work methodologies, standardize authorized and investigative procedures, and strengthen the capability of presidency businesses to detect violations at an early stage.

    The minister emphasised that this system seeks to boost the effectivity of authorized workers, reinforce cooperation between authorities entities and oversight our bodies, and assist nationwide efforts to guard state assets. He famous that enabling establishments to develop stronger governance mechanisms, enhance transparency, and forestall violations is crucial to safeguarding public funds.

    Counselor Al-Sumait careworn that this initiative is a part of Kuwait’s ongoing dedication to strengthening its integrity system and bolstering the readiness of state establishments to confront any practices which will jeopardize public funds.
