    Muslim World League launches global digital Quranic reading initiatives in Makkah

    MAKKAH — Secretary-Basic of the Muslim World League (MWL) and President of the Affiliation of Muslim Students, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, inaugurated a collection of pioneering Quranic initiatives on the MWL headquarters in Makkah.

    The launch included the opening of the “First Coordinating Discussion board for World Digital Quranic Studying Platforms,” the revealing of the “World Digital Quranic Studying Portal,” and the institution of the world’s first affiliation devoted to digital Quranic studying.

    The occasion, attended by main students, researchers, and practitioners in Quran recitation and schooling, in addition to representatives from 50 world digital Quranic studying platforms, highlighted superior efforts to show and recite the Quran remotely by fashionable communication applied sciences.

    Sheikh Al-Issa welcomed the friends, stressing that these initiatives align with the MWL’s mission to strengthen the unity of the Muslim Ummah and serve the Holy Qur’an.

    He described the MWL as a present from Saudi Arabia to the Islamic world, thanking the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his or her steady assist of Islamic causes.

    On behalf of the collaborating platforms, Dr. Ahmed Jamil from Indonesia praised the MWL’s scientific and technical imaginative and prescient in connecting the world to the Qur’an and facilitating its studying and mastery in line with established rules.

    The discussion board’s 4 classes lined matters together with rules for granting Quranic ijazah (certification) through digital platforms, improvement of instructional instruments for distant Quran instruction, coordination of worldwide efforts in digital Quranic recitation, and the presentation of modern technology-based initiatives in Quran instructing.

    Among the many discussion board’s key suggestions was the creation of the “World Affiliation for Digital Quranic Studying Platforms” beneath the MWL to function a global physique for overseeing and creating digital Quranic recitation.
