The Public Authority for Manpower has permitted the formation of a brief committee to supervise the affairs of the Kuwait Farmers Union, in accordance with Ministerial Decision No. (5) of 2025.
The transfer, the Al-Rai each day mentioned, is meant to make sure continued operation of the Union and the right group of its actions till new elections are held consistent with relevant legal guidelines and rules.
The interim committee contains the next members — Ahmed Musleh Dhaher Al-Adwani, Chairman; Fahd Misfer Jaber Al-Hayyan, Vice Chairman; Ahmed Nasser Tayeb Al-Shak, Secretary and Obaid Nasser Abdullah Al-Funaisan, Treasurer.
PAM clarified this step was taken to stop any disruption to farmers’ pursuits within the absence of an elected board of administrators.
It additionally emphasised that the committee is short-term and that the Authority won’t bear obligation for the committee’s actions.
