    PIA Restores Operations After Overnight Disruption: Several UAE-Bound Flights Delayed

    Pakistan Worldwide Airways (PIA) skilled momentary disruptions in its flight operations late on Monday night time, resulting in widespread delays throughout a number of home and worldwide routes  together with key companies to the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

    Based on an organization assertion, the problem stemmed from an try by a derecognised entity, SEAP, to strain administration amid PIA’s ongoing privatisation course of. The airline mentioned its administration and Engineering Division acted swiftly to stabilise operations and minimise inconvenience to passengers.

    Among the many affected flights, PK233 from Islamabad to Dubai confronted a major nine-hour delay, impacting 162 passengers. Regardless of the setback, PIA mentioned contingency measures had been carried out in a single day to make sure the continuation of companies throughout its community.

    • PK701 (Islamabad–Manchester): 329 passengers

    • PK747 (Lahore–Medinah): 14-hour delay, 316 passengers
    • PK761 (Karachi–Jeddah): 12-hour delay, 160 passengers
    • PK300 (Karachi–Islamabad): 4-hour delay, 139 passengers
    • PK741 (Islamabad–Medinah): 6-hour delay, 305 passengers
    • PK233 (Islamabad–Dubai): 9-hour delay, 162 passengers
    • PK245 (Islamabad–Dammam): 7-hour delay, 180 passengers
    • PK755 (Sialkot–Riyadh): 7-hour delay, 142 passengers

    As well as, 5 flights had been cancelled resulting from load changes, with various preparations provided to affected travellers, the airline mentioned.

    PIA emphasised that revised flight slots and crew scheduling had been swiftly launched to take care of service continuity and scale back additional disruptions.

    “This swift response underscores PIA’s dedication to operational stability and passenger comfort, even underneath difficult circumstances,” the airline added.

    The service confirmed that regular flight operations are being progressively restored, reaffirming its dedication to security, reliability, and customer support because it continues to navigate its privatisation part.
