    Saudi anti-graft authority investigates 425 employees, detains 142 in July corruption cases

    RIYADH — The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) introduced on Friday that it investigated 425 public staff and detained 142 people in corruption instances throughout July 2025. A few of these detained had been later launched on bail.

    In a press release, Nazaha stated it carried out 2,354 inspection rounds and pursued numerous legal and administrative instances all through the month.

    The suspects and detainees embrace staff from the Ministries of Inside, Protection, Nationwide Guard, Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, Training, Well being, Justice, Human Sources and Social Improvement, along with officers throughout the Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority itself.
