    RIYADH — Saudi Arabia will introduce a nationwide synthetic intelligence (AI) curriculum throughout all ranges of public schooling ranging from the 2025–2026 educational 12 months.

    Tthe Nationwide Curriculum Middle introduced nucluding the brand new curriculum in partnership with the Ministry of Schooling, the Ministry of Communications and Data Expertise, and the Saudi Knowledge and Synthetic Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).

    The initiative aligns with the Human Functionality Growth Program below Imaginative and prescient 2030, aiming to construct a complete instructional system that reinforces nationwide values whereas boosting the Kingdom’s international competitiveness and management in AI.

    The brand new AI curriculum is designed to empower college students with specialised expertise from early levels, equipping them to interact with the digital age and contribute to modern options all through their instructional journey from main college to school and vocational coaching, and persevering with into lifelong studying.

    The curriculum will characteristic age-appropriate AI modules delivered by interactive and sensible studying strategies. It additionally features a framework to make sure continuity and development throughout completely different schooling ranges, with AI studying outcomes included into the nationwide scholar efficiency evaluation system.

    This announcement follows the current launch of a pilot course titled “Introduction to Synthetic Intelligence” for third-year secondary college students within the common monitor. The course, developed by SDAIA in collaboration with the Nationwide Curriculum Middle and the Ministry of Schooling, was unveiled in the course of the Human Functionality Initiative convention held in April 2025.

    Officers stated this marks a foundational step towards embedding AI ideas into the nationwide schooling system, getting ready a digitally conscious technology prepared to steer in superior expertise sectors.
